Throughout the year, BSI will hold networking events for students. Additionally, as an established world leader in these four areas of sports research, the BSI will drive the conversation between the academy and the sports industry to develop a relationship that results in an adaptable, well-educated group of future sports practitioners.

The inaugural Alabama Summit on Sports and Gaming serves as a venue for dialogue between academics, practitioners and students to discuss the trends and issues that are currently affecting the sports industry. Panels will center around the fours BSI areas of focus, and conversations will be a basis for next year’s Alabama Report on Sports and Gaming.
